All right, let’s get to the bottom of this global warming issue once and for all. Scientists say there are too many greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere. But, they also say there is a hole in the ozone layer. If these theories are true, the greenhouse gases should be venting into space. Problem solved. Although, I suppose it may be possible that the ozone hole isn’t big enough, or we need another hole to get some circulation going.
However, if we are producing too many greenhouse gases, scientists say each person has to decrease their carbon footprint. Now to me, it seems pretty simple—stop stepping in carbon! If I see carbon as I’m walking down the sidewalk, I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m going to walk around it. And, if you should happen to accidently step in some carbon, stop and brush your shoes off, then you won’t leave any footprints. Come on people; use some common sense!
Now, scientists concluded that the increased temperatures would cause the polar ice caps to melt elevating the sea levels. So let’s look on the bright side. Warmer temperature: Homeless people won’t be freezing in the streets, heatstroke maybe, but definitely not freezing. Elevated sea levels: You could invest in land in Colorado and in 20 years, have some nice oceanfront property.
I know I’ve covered this topic in my weekly radio address, but I’ve recently discovered that even though I’m talking into my radio, no one else can hear me through theirs.
